The National Procurement Institute, (NPI) established the achievement of excellence in procurement program, designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement.
This is the most well recognized national procurement award in the US and Canada issued by the National Procurement Institute.
This award is earned by agencies that demonstrate excellence in innovation, professionalism, productivity, and leadership.
A total of 25 school districts in the US and Canada were awarded.
Las Cruces public schools was the only school district in New Mexico to receive the 2023 excellence in procurement award.
